  I know it happens a lot, because working for the state with great pay and amazing benefits is SO HARD in Southern America where it rarely snows.. but yesterday, in about 50-60 degree weather, I was supposed to receive a package & woke up this morning to check the status of my delivery. It reads "Driver attempted delivery. Customer not available. Please contact your local post office to pick up or reschedule delivery." Couple things.. I'm a stay at home mom with dogs who would have heard a door bell or knock at the door. I didn't leave the house once yesterday. Also, I did in fact call at 9 am to reschedule a delivery for today if possible. Of course I can only reschedule a delivery for any day following today. Therefore, I have drive to the post office today with my 11 month old for literally no reason other than a driver who didn't want to get out of their vehicle. The best part of the whole thing, I came on here to get the number & saw an abundance of reviews that oddly resemble mine.. some with security camera footage! I came back to write this after my phone call. I'm from Upstate New York soooo try delivering packages in ACTUAL bad weather in January & get back to me USPS drivers!

  This is the worst service ever, it's like once a month I have this same problem about getting my items. When the normal delivery man works, he's early, nice no problem. Soon, as he off and they have new people. Omg! At 7:45am 6-15-2017 email states out for delivery now @4:39pm I receive another email that an attempt was made. How?!! You didn't even ATTEMPT to knock on my door. You just put the mail along with the attempt made card in the mailbox. So, I sat here all day waiting on a package for nothing. Yall need to train them better or ride along for them to be supervised. This is just unnecessary, it's shouldn't be that hard or take all day to get my mail. And this is not the 1st time this has happened. If I could give a half a star I would and don't even deserve that. Smmfh.

  this post office SUCKS!!!!!! My letter carrier is soooo lazy twice, that I have had to come to the post office to pick up items, because he didnt feel like walking the stairs to my apartment!!!! No one to complain to!! Now just as of last night, been waiting waiting waiting for a package and come to find out, he didnt attempt OR leave the slip to come to the post office to pick it up!!!!!! the only reason why i gave it a STAR is because it wont let you post the comment unless you do
